The Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2000

For whom:
For employees likely to receive an effective dose in exposure of radiation in excess of 6mSv per year or a person who received an overexposure

What needs to be done:
Medical reviews

At least annually

Who is responsible that the medical is carried out:
The employer

Who does carry out the medical:
These medicals require an by the HSE appointed doctor
Business and Health Consultancy's occupational health physician can be appointed

Who pays for the medical:
The employer

How long do records need to be kept:
Until the person reaches the age of 75 years but at least for 50 years
